Rangers fans know exactly who to blame for terrible performance vs Celtic

Rangers’ season went from bad to worse on Sunday after a dismal performance against Celtic saw them crash out of the Scottish Cup.

It was the Gers’ last truly big, important fixture of the season and like most of the others they failed to show the best of their ability.

They never really got going against Brendan Rodgers men and couldn’t make up the gulf in quality between the two sides with any sort of fighting spirit whatsoever. That’s perhaps the most worrying thing for supporters who at least expect proper commitment from the Light Blues.

Players like Andy Halliday, Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn haven’t escaped criticism, with many feeling that a summer clear out is needed in the squad.

Those three in particular have taken a lot of the blame for the performance, many fans sympathising with new boss Pedro Caixinha for being lumbered with players the support perceive to not be good enough.

Fans took to Twitter to share in no no uncertain terms who they feel were the worst offenders on at Hampden on Sunday…
