Rangers fans left delighted as new signings click away to Ross County

With the pressure on away to Ross County on Sunday, Rangers needed a positive result to ease the pressure on manager Pedro Caixinha and delivered in fine fashion with a 3-1 win.

Comfortable in the first half, the Light Blues rushed to a 2-0 lead thanks to summer signing Alfredo Morelos and despite a spirited fightback from their hosts in the second half, the game was put to bed by another Caixinha signing, Eduardo Herrera.

After a defeat to Hibernian and a draw at home to Hearts, Rangers’ season was in danger of sputtering out before it got started but they can now head into the international break buoyant and hopeful of the future ahead, especially as arch rivals Celtic dropped points this weekend.

It was particularly pleasing for fans to see their new signings click into gear with Morelos, Ryan Jack, Herrera and Daniel Candeias all showing promising signs across the 90 minutes.

Supporters took to Twitter to deliver their verdict on the performance and singled out the new boys for praise…
