Rangers have humiliated Aberdeen at Pittodrie in a crucial match-up in the race for second place in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic may be home and clear at the top of the table, but both sides still see honour in finishing as 'best of the rest' and went head to head in a combative and pulsating encounter this lunchtime.

In the end it was Kenny Miller who stole the show with sublime finishes, two in two minutes, before Joe Dodoo played his part shortly after to really put the icing on the cake for the away supporters.

The 3-0 scoreline is a demoralising defeat for Derek McInnes' side who had won their previous 10 matches at Pittodrie.

With the gap between themselves and Rangers now cut to 9 points and the two sides due to meet again at Ibrox, suddenly an insurmountable lead looks vulnerable.

It's fair to say it was a result that delighted Gers fans but there was also heavy criticism of the Dons from Celtic fans and other Scottish football supporters too.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all...
