This morning, the Championship announced the four members shortlisted for the Player of the Month award for September, and Sheffield Wednesday fans are not pleased.
Many feel that Gary Hooper should have been selected due to his impressive form in front of goal.
The forward has scored eight goals in 12 appearances in all competitions for the Owls this season, and seven in his last seven outings.
During the month of September, Hooper found the back of the net three times in five matches.
Those responsible for selecting the nominees for the monthly award opted against including the Owls attacker, instead choosing Bristol City defender Aden Flint, Aston Villa goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Diogo Jota and Norwich City’s James Maddison.
Flint, Johnstone, Jota, Maddison.
