Sheffield Wednesday will look to end a run of three Championship matches without a win when they host Millwall at Hillsborough on Tuesday night, and Owls fans want striker Jordan Rhodes to be handed a rare start.

Despite making a loan move into a permanent deal worth around £10m during the summer, the previously prolific Scot has only started two league matches – the opening two fixtures of the campaign – for the Yorkshire outfit this term.

Since then he has found himself behind the likes of Steven Fletcher and Gary Hooper in the pecking order, but with Carlos Carvalhal's side picking up just one point from the last nine available the Portuguese boss may be considering making changes to his starting XI for the visit of the Lions.

Sheffield Wednesday supporters were quick to have their say on the potential selection of Rhodes for the visit of the south London outfit, and while some said "he has to start tonight", others believe the manager must "give him a chance".
