Sheffield Wednesday are going through a difficult spell having lost four of their last five Championship games.

Manager Carlos Carvalhal is under pressure and the club's promotion hopes have taken a hit as they currently sit six points adrift of the playoff places.

On Saturday, the team travelled to Pride Park to take on Derby County, who went a goal to the good inside the first five minutes thanks to a Matej Vydra penalty.

Not only did the Owls concede, but they had Glenn Loovens sent off for bringing the eventual scorer down in the box.

Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood, who has been at Hillsborough since 2014, was seen exchanging words with a fan after the final whistle blew.

The 33-year-old, who has only just returned to action from a rib injury, took to Twitter to explain the incident and urged everyone connected to the club to stick together.

Fans were quick to react to the goalkeeper's post.

The team have lost four of their last away games.
