Sissoko draws criticism from Tottenham Hotspur fans yet again

Moussa Sissoko does not have many fans in his corner due to his lacklustre start to life at Tottenham Hotspur.

The midfielder joined the club from Newcastle United last summer in a reported £30m deal, but he has so far not lived up to that price tag.

Sissoko has struggled to impress manager Mauricio Pochettino given that he has started just seven Premier League games this season.

Due to various injuries, the 27-year-old was given a rare spot in the first XI against Swansea City on Wednesday night, but he only lasted 61 minutes before being hauled off and replaced with Vincent Janssen.

The game itself was a positive one for the club as the team managed to come from behind to seal a 3-1 victory.

Spurs were still trailing by one goal approaching the 88th-minute mark, but Dele Alli changed the course of the game by scoring an equaliser.

The turnaround was complete in injury time with Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen found the back of the net to keep Spurs seven pints adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea.

While fans were delighted with the result, they were less than impressed with Sissoko.
