Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina won the man of the match award in his side's 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, but Saints fans were far from impressed with the comments from Match of the Day pundit Phil Neville on their new signing.

Despite only bringing the Gabon international to St Mary's in a club-record deal last month, Neville believes that the top Premier League clubs will already be taking a look at the 24-year-old following an impressive showing against the Eagles.

As well as making a number of interceptions and tackles, the former Juventus man also used the ball well and looked composed alongside Oriol Romeu in the middle of the park.

Southampton fans were quick to have their say on Neville’s comments via social media, with many labelling him as a "tool" and "class clown" for trying to tout around a player they only signed in August.
