Tottenham Hotspur's season continues to get better and better. They thrashed Watford 4-0 on Saturday with a performance that was amongst the best they've offered so far in 2016/17.

The likes of Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min were on top form throughout, both supplying the goals for the victory alongside Eric Dier.

When Spurs are in the mood there's no stopping them and even for the neutral, their brand of exciting, attacking football is certainly worth admiring.

Central to how they've played throughout the season has been Mauricio Pochettino's utilisation of full-backs in an attacking sense. When everything's clicking they act as de facto wingers, bombarding the opposition box with crosses and overlapping runs.

That was true again on Saturday even though the Lilywhites were missing both Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.

Stepping up to the plate was Kieran Trippier, who put in a performance that surely puts him in contention for a more regular starting berth. He was a problem in Watford's side all afternoon and eventually assisted Son for the fourth goal.

It was just his third Premier League start of the season but he certainly caught the eye of the Tottenham fans and some are even calling for him to replace Walker on a regular basis.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance...
