Key Swansea midfielder Jay Fulton has extended his contract at the Liberty Stadium, as the club confirmed the Scot will remain in Wales until 2021.
Fulton joined the Jacks in 2014 from Falkirk, and the 5ft 10in central player has since made 37 outings for the Swans, featuring 12 times this season after helping Wigan earn promotion from League One last year.
Swansea manager Graham Potter now sees the 24-year-old as an important member of his side and the club’s announcement highlighted how keen they were to secure Fulton’s future with his previous deal set to expire in 2020.
In 12 Championship games this season, the Bolton-born Scotland U21 international has scored two goals and assisted another, with an average of 0.4 key passes per game according to WhoScored.
The Swans number 27 has also averaged 1.8 tackles per game, helping him to reap the praise of these fans.
