Tottenham fans demand new signings after Man City defeat

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 3-0 defeat to Premier League rivals Manchester City in the final match of their American tour in Nashville on Saturday.

The Citizens took the lead in the 10th minute when defender John Stones found the net and Sergio Aguero hit the woodwork twice before late goals from Raheem Sterling and Brahim Diaz sealed a comfortable victory for Pep Guardiola’s men, for whom Kyle Walker was booed throughout by Spurs fans following his summer move.

While Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Vincent Janssen all had good chances, they failed to convert on what was a disappointing night for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, who had previously been beaten 3-2 by Roma and won 4-2 against Paris Saint-Germain in the United States.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the latest loss via social media and the majority were not impressed with the performance, with others calling on Daniel Levy to bring in some new players with the north London outfit yet to make a signing so far this summer.
