Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League title chances suffered a major blow ahead of their north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane as leaders Chelsea beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park.
Second half goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill and Willian gave the Blues a comfortable victory on Merseyside and means that the Blues once again have a seven-point advantage over Spurs ahead of their huge clash against the Gunners.
Antonio Conte’s men know that if they win three of their last four league fixtures they will win the famous trophy, and that is only if Mauricio Pochettino’s pick up all three points in what is going to be the final north London derby at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the latest setback via social media, with many believing that the title race is officially over and others hoping the result doesn’t affect their players against Arsene Wenger’s side.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

We were never going to catch them anyway. Four points (as it stands) for second place, that's the target. #COYS
