In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose has spoken out on a number of subjects surrounding himself and the club.

Speaking to The Sun, the 27-year-old said that he will play up north again during his career, how he feels he is worth more than the wages he is currently on and how he hasn’t forgotten the criticism he received from Spurs fans earlier in his career with the north London outfit.

Despite finishing second in the Premier League last season, Tottenham are yet to bring in any new signings this summer and have lost Kyle Walker to Manchester City, and it is clearly something that has frustrated the likes of Rose as he looks to progress in his career and win trophies.

The left-back is currently on around £65,000-a-week, according to The Sun, and he will know that he could be earning more if he were to move to the likes of Chelsea or Manchester United this summer.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the comments from the England international via social media, and they were divided with their opinions.

While some believe that he is a "moron" for going and speaking to the newspaper behind the club’s back, others feel that he is just saying what the fans are thinking right now.
