Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was named on the substitutes’ bench for the visit of Watford on Saturday following his return from injury.

The England international – who has scored 19 Premier League goals this term – picked up a foot problem in the FA Cup success against Millwall at White Hart Lane last month, and was expected to be out of action for longer than he has been.

However, he returned to training this week and his return will be a big boost for his Spurs teammates, who kept alive their title hopes with a dramatic 3-1 win against Swansea City on Wednesday night.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the squad for the match against the Hornets via social media, and while some were asking why Kane wasn’t in the starting line-up, others believed it was the right decision by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
