According to reports in The Telegraph, Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez expects the Foxes to honour an agreement the two parties struck last summer to allow him to leave the club at the end of the season.
The 2016 PFA Player of the Year was a key part of Leicester’s incredible Premier League title-winning campaign last term after scoring 17 goals, but he has failed to replicate those consistent performances this season.
Despite that, the Algeria international has scored 10 goals and provided a further seven assists in 45 appearances in all competitions, and he is said to be a target for north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs supporters were quick to have their say on the link to the 26-year-old via social media, and they were divided on the potential arrival of the wide man.
While some believe he would boost the team, others feel that he doesn’t have the work rate to fit into Mauricio Pochettino’s style of play.

@HotspurRelated Can't think of less suited player to Poch's relentless pressing. Great footballer, but can't afford passengers in our style of play.
