Tottenham fans finally satisfied with Sissoko after Palace performance

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko hasn’t been the most popular among Spurs fans following his £30m move from Newcastle United last summer, but he was on the receiving end of some rare praise from them following his performance in the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

The Frenchman came on as a second half substitute in a match that Mauricio Pochettino’s side needed the win to keep the pressure up on Premier League leaders Chelsea, and Christian Eriksen’s late strike gave them a crucial three points to keep the gap to the Blues at four points.

Sissoko has largely been a bit-part player for the north London outfit this term despite the sizeable fee he arrived at White Hart Lane for and hasn’t impressed when he has been on the field, but Tottenham supporters were quick to lavish him with praise on social media following a positive outing at Selhurst Park.
