According to reports in The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to hijack Leicester City’s £25m move for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho in order to speed up Kyle Walker’s move to the Etihad.
The Citizens are keen to sign the England international this summer as Pep Guardiola looks to bring in a new right-back, but the club is being put off by the £50m valuation on his head.
However, if Spurs were to move for Iheanacho, it would allow allow a cash-plus-player deal to be set up, which could work for all of the parties involved as Mauricio Pochettino looks to provide more competition for Harry Kane next season.
Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while many would love to sign Iheanacho, they don’t feel that it is a possibility with some even going as far to dismiss by saying that a deal is as likely as them wearing an Arsenal shirt.

Would be perfect. Shame about the source though!

Iheanacho and £40m for Walker. Yes please.

This should be the only way that Kyle Walker gets his move the other way, just now sure how he feels being a 2nd choice behind Kane.

He's a very good player with a lot of potential. Would be a very good signing for us. Was confused as to why we weren't in for him.

I'd take that money and him for walker. Perfect understudy for Kane. Plenty or potential
