According to reports in The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur could receive a £50m bid from Chelsea for left-back Danny Rose after the two teams meet in Premier League at Wembley on Sunday.

The Sun says that the Blues are keen to bring the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge in order to provide Marcos Alonso with some much-needed competition in the left wing-back spot, and Antonio Conte sees the England international as the ideal man to do exactly that.

The report adds that Premier League holders will submit the offer to their London neighbours following their derby clash on Sunday, with Rose’s future potentially in doubt following an explosive interview he carried out with The Sun last week.

Having already sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City in July they will need to be very persuasive to convince Spurs to cash in on the left-back.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and the majority laughed it off.

While some said that they would need to pay £150m to have any chance of getting him, others believe that chairman Daniel Levy wouldn’t sell a player to Chelsea.
