Tottenham Hotspur hit top gear on Saturday with a stomping 4-0 win away to Huddersfield in the English Premier League.

Harry Kane was again the hero of the day, netting twice alongside efforts from Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko.

It was exactly the win Spurs needed with top four rivals Manchester City and Chelsea facing off later on Saturday, and the result means Maurcio Pochettino's side finish the day in third place.

There was barely a bad performer across the entire team, with Spurs' best players combining to rip the home side apart consistently.

One player that caught the eye of fans more than most was youngster Harry Winks, who was handed a big chance to shine with his first start of the league season so far. He was in excellent form mid-week in the UEFA Champions League and that ran in today, similarly impressing in the middle of the park.

The 21-year-old has been something of a fringe player so far in his Spurs career but performances like that will go a long to helping him become established in the starting eleven.

Supporters took to Twitter to deliver the verdict on his display against Huddersfield...
