Tottenham Hotspur recorded a 3-2 win against London neighbours West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday, and Spurs fans were particularly impressed with Fernando Llorente's late cameo.

The centre-forward only came on in the 89th minute as a replacement for the two-goal Harry Kane, but he was strong and held the ball up well when his team needed him to following the second half dismissal of Serge Aurier, while he was also involved in a spat with Winston Reid that created a brawl and wasted more time.

The 32-year-old certainly made an impact after being restricted to just 17 minutes of Premier League football for the north London outfit following his move from Swansea City last month, with the in-form Kane continuing to shine.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on Llorente’s performance via social media, and while said his "experience is invaluable", others feel he was 'exactly what they needed' when they found themselves under the cosh.

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
