Tottenham have made little movement in the market so far this summer, with their only action being the sale of right-back Kyle Walker to top four rivals Manchester City for the eye-watering fee of £50m.
However, while there is nothing to talk about in the way of incomings, there has been plenty of chatter surrounding those who could follow Walker out of the doors in north London.
One man whose being linked with a move away is Frenchman Moussa Sissoko, despite having joined the club in a £30m move from Newcastle only last summer.
Having shone at the European Championships for his country, Sissoko was snapped up by Mauricio Pochettino following the Magpies relegation, but never really made an impact for the Premier League runners-up and looks all but gone a year later.
While there has been no deal yet, there may have been hint over his future from the club after he was left off their pre-season tour, with the club claiming he had come down with a virus.
Spurs fans jumped on the claim straight away and weren’t going to believe it for a second, but were very happy to go along with it so long as it means the 27-year-old is off…
By virus I hope you mean you’re trying to flog him
