Tottenham fans react as Moussa Sissoko scores first Spurs goal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko finally scored his first goal for the club in their 4-0 win against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, and Spurs fans were quick to express their shock and surprise.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men came into the clash against the newly-promoted side looking to maintain their 100% record on the road in the Premier League this season, and they got off to the best possible start with a brace from Harry Kane and a goal from Ben Davies giving them a 3-0 lead at half-time.

Sissoko came off the substitutes’ bench to replace Christian Eriksen in the 75th minute, and he managed to find the net for the first time on his 42nd appearance for the north London outfit with a deflected effort from close range.

Tottenham supporters took little time in giving their reaction to the goal from Sissoko – who hasn’t exactly been a popular figure following his £30m move from Newcastle last summer – via social media, and while some described it as a “miracle”, others said they were “genuinely shocked”.
