Tottenham fans recall special NLD goal by Harry Kane, hope for a repeat

Tottenham Hotspur host Arsenal in a crucial north London derby at White Hart Lane on Sunday as they look to keep alive their chances of winning the Premier League title.

The official Spurs Twitter account has been reliving some of the moments from previous matches between the arch-rivals, including the clash at the Lane in 2016 where Harry Kane scored a wonder goal.

Despite taking the lead through an Aaron Ramsey goal, the Gunners were gazumped in the second half following goals from Toby Alderweireld and Kane after Francis Coquelin was sent off, with the England international curling in a brilliant effort from outside the penalty area.

However, Alexis Sanchez’s late goal ensured the spoils were shared.

Tottenham supporters were quick to give their memories of Kane’s spectacular goal via social media, with some stating that it still makes their hairs stand up on end, although they will be hoping for a different outcome with the result this weekend.

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction to the post…
