Tottenham Hotspur fans frustrated by continued Rose absence

A number of Tottenham Hotspur supporters seem to be getting fed up with the club’s failure to deliver a timeline for Danny Rose’s recovery from a knee injury.

The England international has not played since he suffered medial ligament damage during a goalless draw with Sunderland on January 31.

Ben Davies has been deputising in Rose’s absence, and he has not done a bad job considering that the club are the closest challengers to Premier League leaders Chelsea.

However, many fans want to see Rose back for the run-in as well as in the FA Cup campaign as they prepare to face Chelsea in the quarter-finals on April 22.

Before that, Mauricio Pochettino’s men welcome Bournemouth to White Hart Lane in a bid to keep pressure on the Blues, who have a seven-point lead in the title race with seven games left to play.

On Thursday, Spurs provided an update on Rose’s recovery, but there is still no indication as to when he will be fit enough to return to the pitch.

Some fans are pleased that Rose will be back on the training pitch next week, but the majority are frustrated by the lack of certainty over his return.
