Tottenham Hotspur may not have been in action themselves over the past week, but their players have had a positive few days at international level.
Harry Kane captained England in World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Lithuania.
As well as having the armband, the striker scored the winner in both matches.
Harry Winks also reached a career milestone as he made his full England debut on Sunday, while Jan Vertonghen scored for Belgium on his 98th international appearance.
Elsewhere, Christian Eriksen impressed for Denmark by netting from the penalty spot to help his nation grab a World Cup playoff spot.
The midfielder has become somewhat of a fan favourite at Tottenham and is now a regular member of Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
After contributing with a goal on the international stage, Spurs fans took to Twitter to praise the 25-year-old.
