Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans took joy in Piers Morgan's unhappiness in midweek.

The TV presenter, who is a lifelong Arsenal fan, struggled to celebrate his side's victory over West Ham United because of the late comeback win from the Gunners' arch enemies.

Arsenal were in need of a triumph after going three Premier League games without a win, and the team managed to respond, with Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud getting on the scoresheet.

It looked to be a good night overall for fans of the Gunners as Spurs were trailing 1-0 to Swansea City with two minutes of normal time on the clock.

However, late goals from Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen resulted in a dramatic 3-1 win for Mauricio Pochettino's side, which kept the club 11 points clear of Arsenal.

Tottenham have not finished above their North London rivals for 22 years, but they look on course to do so this season as they sit relatively comfortably in second, while Arsenal reside fifth.

After the full-time whistles, Morgan tweeted his frustration at Spurs' late comeback.

As expected, plenty of Tottenham supporters took the opportunity to make him more miserable.
