Tottenham Hotspur may have fallen at the final hurdle in the Premier League title race two years in a row, but the supporters are confident that manager Mauricio Pochettino has put the club on the right track.

The Argentine, who took over at the North London outfit from Southampton in 2014, has shaped a young team into genuine trophy contenders.

Last season, they crumbled in their final few games, effectively handing the league title to Leicester City early, and this season, West Ham United derailed Tottenham’s campaign with a 1-0 win.

Chelsea are worthy champions, but there is no doubt that Spurs and their counterparts will be fighting for the prize next season.

Despite not being able to take home the coveted trophy, it was a successful campaign for Pochettino and his men as they secured second place - their highest ever finish in the top flight and ended the season above arch rivals Arsenal for the first time in 22 years.

After Spurs’ final day 7-1 win over Hull City, the club tweeted a video of Pochettino thanking the fans for their support this season, and they responded in their droves.
