Tottenham Hotspur have been keen to stress that they are not a one-man team, and while that may be the case, the North London outfit missed Harry Kane’s presence against Manchester United at the weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men failed to seriously threaten David de Gea and ended up losing 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Kane missed out on the trip to the North-West of England due to a hamstring injury, but it seems that the striker could be available for tonight’s Champions League contest against Real Madrid at Wembley.
During his pre-match press conference, Pochettino confirmed to reporters that the 24-year-old took part in training and is hopeful of being 100% fit for the clash.
Earlier this month, the Premier League club earned a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu, which has left them level on points with Madrid in Group H.
Given that Spurs are closing in on qualification for the last 16, some fans think that Kane should not be risked against the Spanish giants, but rather allow him to be fresh for Sunday’s league match against Crystal Palace.
Others, though, are keen for the England international to be unleashed this evening.
I hope he's available for the Real game.
