Tottenham Hotspur fans switch attention to Real Madrid battle

Tottenham Hotspur fans are feeling very confident about the team’s progression into the knockout rounds of the Champions League following back-to-back wins.

The North London outfit were arguably handed the toughest group of the draw when they were place in a pot alongside defending champions Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and APOEL.

A 3-1 victory over Dortmund put Mauricio Pochettino’s men in a strong position after Matchday One, and they followed that up with a 3-0 win over APOEL in Cyprus on Tuesday night.

Harry Kane stole the headlines by securing a hat-trick – his sixth in 2017 – and it helped the club move equal with Madrid on six points.

Following their last two results in the competition, Tottenham fans are feeling confident that the team can match Real when the pair go head to head.

Spurs will be facing their former player Gareth Bale, who scored a wonder-goal in Madrid’s 3-1 win over Dortmund in Germany.
