A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans are biting their nails ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Everything was going to plan for the North London outfit after they cut the gap in the title race to four points following seven consecutive wins in the top flight.
They then put their title ambitions to one side to face league leaders Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, but the Wembley meeting on Saturday did not go in their favour.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side came from behind twice, but ended up on the losing end of a 4-2 scoreline, with Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic scoring in the final 15 minutes.
While the result has no bearing on the title race, mentally the players will need to pick themselves up before their midweek encounter.
Not only are the fans feeling low about Saturday’s match, they are now concerned that Palace will cause an upset, much like they did to Chelsea and Liverpool, whom they defeated 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday.
Oh well I hope spurs learn from last seasons downward spiral dropping points in those vital last few games. Palace game really big now #COYS

Palace on Wednesday is going to be tough. Maybe not the easiest place to go after losing an FA Cup semi final. #COYS

Spurs do not have the easiest of run-ins as they take on Arsenal and Manchester United in their final six games.
