Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli attempted to convey a sense of focus and determination in his latest tweet, but the image he used did not quite match up to the message.

Ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final showdown against Chelsea at Wembley, the 21-year-old took to social media to claim that the team are "together" and "focused".

However, the group looked anything but in the picture that Alli accompanied with his caption.

In fairness, the man himself looked like he had a mission to complete, but Ben Davies and Son Heung-min seemed more interested in sharing a joke, while Eric Dier looked as though he had something else on his mind.

As expected, plenty of fans picked up on this and decided that the image completely negated Alli's message.

The team have plenty to be focused on, however, as they are two wins away from picking up their first FA Cup trophy since 1991.

Not only that, they remain in the Premier League title race having cut down Chelsea's lead to just four points with six games remaining.
