Gary Cahill may be Chelsea captain, but that status hasn't spared him from the wrath of the fans.

In truth, the 58-cap England international is probably the weakest link in the Blues' regular back line - simply because he's a right-footer taking up the left centre-back slot - and his form this season has been particularly unconvincing.

Chelsea haven't actually won any of the Premier League fixtures their skipper has started this season, including shock defeats to Crystal Palace and Burnley and the 1-0 loss to title rivals Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

But Cahill has kept his place in the starting XI for today's clash with Watford and it's safe to say, plenty of Blues supporters aren't happy about it - with many questioning why promising youngster Andreas Christensen hasn't started instead.

Here's a look at the reaction on Twitter - not least including one Chelsea fan claiming he wants the 31-year-old to suffer a 'career-ending tackle'.
