According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have agreed a fee with Monaco for their versatile Brazilian Fabinho.
The fee is rumoured to be around £30.8 million with another £4.4 million in performance related bonuses. Personal terms are also believed to have been agreed as the 23-year-old edges ever closer to becoming Manchester United’s second signing of the summer.
After a fantastic season with Monaco, the Brazilian has been linked to a number of elite clubs around Europe. Scoring 9 goals in 37 competitions, Fabinho was a revelation in midfield and helped his side achieve unexpected domestic glory.
Jose Mourinho is looking to improve his squad at Old Trafford and has already added Swedish defender Victor Lindelof to his ranks this summer.
Now, it appears that Fabinho could well be the second arrival at the club this summer and Manchester United fans took to twitter to urge their team to push the deal for the Brazilian through as quickly as possible…
Really hope the Fabinho rumours are true, him and Lindelof would be an amazing start to this window and that means no Matic/Dier 👌🏻 #mufc

Fabinho, Herrera and Pogba would be the best midfield three in the PL, by far. Woodward needs to hurry and get Fabinho signed. #mufc
