Manchester United dropped two vital, important points against ten-man Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday in a dramatic and engrossing match.

Going ahead thanks to Marcos Rojo, United looked set to pick up another victory and put serious pressure on Arsenal and Liverpool above them. However, a Joshua King penalty got the Cherries level and despite getting a man sent off, Eddie Howe's men managed to hold on for an excellent result.

While the result itself was momentous enough, what had everyone talking were the clashes between Tyrone Mings and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Mings appeared to stamp on the head of Ibrahimovic before Swede swung a wild elbow into his face in a later incident.

Kevin Friend appeared to lose control of the entire situation and even seemed confused about whether to send Andrew Surman off for a push on Ibrahimovic in the wake of his elbow.

Neither Mings nor Ibrahimovic received punishment for their naughtiness and they are incidents sure to be in the headlines for days to come.

One Twitter too it of course saw a big reaction...
