It’s the end of what seems like years of speculation about Berahino’s future at West Brom and a proposed move elsewhere.
The former England youth international isn’t having the most enjoyable seasons, playing just 5 matches in a campaign littered by injury and lack of fitness.
The move to Stoke offers him a fresh chance in the Premier League and the platform to show why there has been so much hype around him for the last few years.
Stoke are likely buying Berahino off the back of his season in 2014/15 when he scored 20 goals in West Brom colours including 14 in the Premier League. That’s form that would surely serve Mark Hughes’ side well in the next few months.
Now the deal is finally done, fans from both sides took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the transfer…
Shame to let berahino go, like him or not he's a brilliant striker in his form just a shame he had his head turned

I want to remember the brilliant footballer scoring goals for fun, but instead I see Berahino as the spoilt brat who poisoned our club. #wba

Delighted Berahino (and his pace) is finally coming. I wonder if we'll see him wide right at all in the Odemwingie role? Wouldn't shock me.

I'm delighted about Berahino personally. Even if you're not, his debut would be away at West Brom…

Technically Berahino is poor. Gives the ball away a lot and energy is low. He is a great finisher but is that enough? Not for me!
