After a demoralising 3-0 defeat away to Newcastle United on Saturday, West Ham United fans appear to have finally lost patience with manager Slaven Bilic.
That heavy loss would be tough to take even if the Hammers’ form was good, but in the context of zero wins from their opening fixtures in the English Premier League and a disappointing season last term, the pressure is really ramping up on Bilic.
It’s even gotten to the stage that fans are openly discussing who they would like to arrive to take the team forward and one name is ringing out louder than others; Rafa Benitez.
It would of course be slightly ironic that the man who masterminded the win that perhaps makes Bilic’s position at West Ham untenable would be the one to take his job, but Benitez’s pedigree would certainly appear to suit West Ham.
Sky Sports reported this weekend that he was in line to be Bilic’s successor should the Croatian leave the club, so Irons fans could get their wish.
They took to Twitter in the wake of the defeat at St James’ Park to make it clear that the Spaniard was the man they wanted in charge at the London Stadium…
If money isn't the issue…Rafa!EPL,cup &euro experience,organising teams to play & brings youth in 1st team,transfers&euro scouting!

Rafa would get my vote. He would also be the one to take us up a step.

If he could be persuaded, Thomas Tuchel. If not pay the release clause for Rafa.

I've always said Rafa's style will suite West Ham

I don't think they will do it yet but probably Rafa. Knows the PL and did a good job on us yesterday.
