West Ham United really should have returned to winning ways in the Premier League when they took a 2-0 lead away to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers played some excellent stuff in the first 45 minutes of the contest, with Palace struggling to make their mark at Selhurst Park.

The home side found a route back into the match from the penalty spot early in the second period, however, before Wilfried Zaha equalised in the seventh minute of added time at the end of the 90.

Michail Antonio took a lot of criticism for his part in the Palace goal, with the West Ham attacker needlessly losing possession down the other end moments before.

On Monday, West Ham's official Twitter account posted quotes from club captain Mark Noble, who claimed that his team must learn to 'see games out'.

It would be fair to say that the midfielder's comments did not go down too well with the West Ham fans, however, who believe that should be learned at Under-14 level rather than in the highest tier of professional football in England.
