West Ham fans criticise club as they eye loan deal for Chelsea striker

According to reports in the Sunday Express, West Ham United are said to be lining up a summer loan move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

Irons manager Slaven Bilic wanted to bring the Belgian to the London Stadium during the last two transfer windows but he lost out to the Blues last summer, before Antonio Conte didn’t want to let the 23-year-old leave Stamford Bridge in January with his side looking to win the Premier League title.

The Belgian has struggled to make a real impact for the west London outfit after scoring just one goal in 17 Premier League appearances in his debut season in England, although he has spent just a total of 109 minutes on the pitch.

West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on the latest transfer rumour, but they were once again furious with the board who looking to be targeting a temporary deal rather than a permanent one.
