According to Italian journalist Emanuele Guilianelli on Twitter, West Ham United are ready to launch a €25m (approximately £22m) bid for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

The 21-year-old helped the German outfit to a surprise second-place finish in the Bundesliga by scoring 21 goals and providing a further seven assists in 32 appearances, which means they will play in the Champions League next season.
That form is said to have caught the attention of Irons manager Slaven Bilic, who is desperate to bring in a striker this summer with continued fitness doubts over Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.
West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, with many believing they have no chance of bringing in a player who is guaranteed to be playing Champions League football, while others believe he could be targeted by bigger clubs.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Would prefer Inhennacho or however you spell it. Experience in the Premier league

Surely we'd have to pay more than that?

Let's look to some realistic signings not champions league players linked with bigger clubs in our league

100% won't happen. Ineanacho is top target along with batshuayi.
