West Ham fans divided as Diafra Sakho reiterates wish to leave the club

West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has once again reiterated his wish to leave the club, and Irons fans are divided on his latest comments.

Speaking to football journalist Claude Atcheba, the Senegal international spoke about his failed summer move to Rennes and hinted that the deal fell through as the Irons failed to find a suitable replacement before the transfer window slammed shut.

He went on to say that he still wants out and a return to France, even though he has scored three goals and provided one assist in nine appearances in all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s men so far this term.

West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on their centre-forward’s quotes via social media, and they were divided.

While some said that it was genuinely a “shame” and that they “can’t blame him” for feeling the way he does, others say that if he does leave it would be “his loss”.
