West Ham United fell to a fifth successive Premier League defeat on Wednesday night as they were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates.
It is a result that has increased the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic and his team, who lie just five points above Swansea City – who they host on Saturday – in the final relegation spot.
While a number of the Irons players are enduring a particularly poor run of form and a lack of confidence right now, January transfer window additions Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass have come under increased scrutiny in the last few weeks.
The latter once again struggled to impress during the loss at the Emirates despite enjoying a fine first half of the campaign with Hull City – in which he scored seven Premier League goals – and some Hammers supporters are frustrated that the winger is unable to replicate those performances.
However, others believe he is just being used as a scapegoat and that all of the players are to blame.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction to his latest performance which appears to have divided the fan base…
Even if we go down I don't want Snodgrass at this club next season. Never seen a more uselsss player in my life.

@WHUFC_News I was told by a Hull native that Snodgrass usually is out of steam by the hour mark and is subbed by then. He's got fitness issues!

@WHUFC_News Our form is down to a lot more than Snodgrass being poor at the moment , can't use him as the only scapegoat.

@WHUFC_News Why is that though, he was a good player In a bad team at Hull. We've caused his poor form. It wasn't just us that wanted him. Training?

@WHUFC_News This just simply isn't true, we've had so much worse
