West Ham United play host to Brighton and Hove Albion at the London Stadium on Friday night, and Irons fans don’t want Andre Ayew to start in the absence of a number of their attacking players.

Andy Carroll will miss the clash against the Seagulls following his red card against Burnley last weekend, while Diafra Sakho will also be on the sidelines after a recurrence of a back problem this week.

Meanwhile, fellow striker Javier Hernandez is a slight doubt having felt a tight hamstring in training, and the Mexican’s absence would leave the east London outfit extremely short of options up top.

The Ghana international would be one of the players likely to step into the starting XI after being left on the substitutes' bench against the Clarets last time out, but West Ham supporters don't want to see that happen.

While some said that want to see a team selection "that doesn't include Ayew", others said 'if he starts I will cry'.
