According to the reliable Twitter account @ExWHUemployee on the weekly West Ham Way podcast, West Ham United are currently “not close” to making any new signings, which will come as a frustration to Irons fans.
The Hammers have already agreed a deal to bring Pablo Zabaleta to the London Stadium and have been linked with moves for a number of strikers and attackers – including Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho and Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud – but the latest update reveals that no new incomings are imminent.
Slaven Bilic is keen to strengthen his squad this summer following a disappointing campaign last time out in which his side struggled to adapt to life in their new home.
