West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has reportedly told Spanish media outlet Radio Marca that he isn't happy playing back-up to Joe Hart and wants a move in January to boost his chances of featuring for Spain, but Irons fans have hit back at his comments.

While he was in and out of the side under Slaven Bilic last season after being dropped following a mistake against Stoke City, the 30-year-old has played second fiddle to Manchester City loanee Hart this term and has only played 180 minutes in the EFL Cup.

Adrian told Radio Marca: "The market will be reopened and an agreement must be reached because I am not happy in this situation."

West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on the quotes via social media, and while some criticised him for thinking "he doesn’t have to fight for his place", others told him to "shut his mouth and just deal with it".
