According to Sky Sports, West Ham United are interested in signing £10.4m-rated Werder Bremen striker Max Kruse this summer.

Despite only joining the Bundesliga outfit from fellow German side Wolfsburg last summer and going on to score 15 goals in 23 top flight appearances, the 29-year-old has been told he can leave the club if an offer of £10.4m is received.

That is news that has caught the attention of Irons manager Slaven Bilic, who is keen to bring two new strikers to the London Stadium this summer because of continued frustrations over the long-term fitness of Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.

The Hammers have already been tipped to swoop for a new centre-forward practically since the start of the season and the link to Kruse is just the latest in a long line of rumours.

West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on yet another link to a new striker, and they believe that it would be a ‘no-brainer’ to bring him to the club for the quoted price.
