West Ham fans less than optimistic ahead of Arsenal clash despite surprising stat

Despite the fact that Arsenal have only beaten non-league sides Sutton United and Lincoln City – both in the FA Cup – since February 11, West Ham United supporters are less than optimistic about getting something at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Gunners have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches as they look set to face a struggle to secure a Champions League spot at the end of the season, but they did show some fight in their 2-2 draw against Manchester City in north London on Sunday.

However, Irons fans believe their name is about to be added to the list of teams that Arsene Wenger has tasted victory against since they beat Hull City 2-0 in February, with Slaven Bilic’s men on a four-game losing sequence of their own following a 2-1 loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

Hammers supporters were quick to voice their opinion on the stat via social media, with many suggesting that Arsenal are almost guaranteed to take all three points and end that barren run in midweek.
