West Ham United picked up their first points and win of the Premier League season with a 2-0 victory against Huddersfield Town at the London Stadium on Monday night to relieve some of the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic, and Irons fans were particularly impressed with the performance of one of their forwards.
Bilic decided to ditch the 4-2-3-1 formation that had brought three successive defeats and 10 goals conceded against Manchester United, Southampton and Newcastle United, and instead selected a 3-4-3 system against the in-form Terriers.
Antonio started on the right of the front three with Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez up alongside him, and he showed fantastic work-rate and quality throughout as the east London kick-started their top flight campaign with second-half goals from Pedro Obiang and Andre Ayew.
West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on Antonio’s showing via social media and they were full of praise for the winger, with some describing him as ‘making the difference’.

That 3-4-3 was perfect, Hart was unbothered, attack was ferocious, Cresswell was absolute class, and Antonio was a beast as usual #COYI
