Under-fire West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic faces another potential must-win game against Liverpool at the London Stadium on Saturday, but he could be without five key first-team defenders and Irons fans have been quick to have their say on the crisis.

Bilic is still under huge pressure despite a 3-2 win over Tottenham in the Carabao Cup and the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with his team surrendering a two-goal lead against the bottom-of-the-table Eagles in the latter.

According to The Mirror, the Croatian boss could come into the clash against Jurgen Klopp's men without central defensive trio James Collins, Winston Reid and Jose Fonte, with the former absent with an ankle injury, Reid a late withdrawal before the Palace game with a calf strain and the latter picking up a foot problem during the draw.

With Pablo Zabaleta suspended and Aaron Cresswell also potentially a doubt after being taken off at half-time at Selhurst Park, it could be something of a makeshift back four or five against the Reds.

West Ham supporters took to social media to give the thoughts on the situation, and while some said "we are in trouble", others said "you couldn't make this up".
