West Ham have spent many a recent transfer window trying to bolster their offensive ranks, and this summer will be no different.
After yet another season of relative disappointment, especially in front of goal, Hammers fans will be hoping that this transfer window will finally bring a 20-goal a season striker.
Reports suggest that David Gold and Slavan Bilic have a wishlist of three strikers that they would like to sign – Jermain Defoe, Michy Batshuayi and the third was recently revealed to be Kelechi Iheanacho, according to SkySports.
The 20-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Man City this year, appearing just 19 times in all competitions and contributing four goals. It now seems that Pep Guardiola would be willing to listen to offers of around £20million for the Nigerian international who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad.
West Ham fans took to Twitter to express their views of Iheanacho’s potential arrival…
West Ham should try and go for Iheanacho on loan for next season….it's not like he's getting games at Man City…he's a good young player
