West Ham fans really aren’t sure about Zabaleta reports

West Ham’s transfer dealings have been a mixed bag in recent windows. From the massive highs of getting Dimitri Payet in for a relatively low fee to Simone Zaza’s disastrous arrival on loan last summer, there is plenty of ammo for those who want to back the club and those keen to aim shots at the decision-makers in the boardroom.

And TuttoMercatoWeb’s report that Pablo Zabaleta is set to sign a three-year contract at the London Stadium has done little to unify supporters. The Argentine will apparently join the Hammers on a free transfer when his Manchester City deal expires in a few months’ time, and even though he would solve the right-back conundrum Slaven Bilic has, at 32 he’s certainly not a long-term option.
